For sale is a very rare 1930s masonite (composite) sign from Italy. This is one of the earliest Italian Sinclair items and one of the hardest to find. All grommets are intact and the condition is as shown. In transit from Italy, the sign was wrapped in plastic and, combined with heat, left a shiny and indented texture throughout the entire front of the sign that can be seen when the light hits it. The tin sign is green as shown, it has a black wood frame around it. Below “The Cream” letters it has a slight bend in the tin & around “could speak” there are scratches that can be seen in the above pictures. The black wood frame also has scratches and scuffs on it. The sign is approx. 73″ x 37″ x 2-1/2 D. UNKNOWN WHEN THIS SIGN WAS PRODUCED. IF ITS A REPRODUCTION. Please view detailed pictures, the sign is in nice condition for it’s age. It has been is. Our personal collection for over 20 plus years, kept indoors and hung on the wall. The sign does have chips in the paint, missing paint, scuffs, scratches, bent corners and other blemishes but over all it would look great hanging inside your home, shop or man cave. Looks to have been touched up in spots. Please understand with the age of these signs and general use most of these were kept outdoors and exposed to the elements of mother nature.
