Vintage Rare Lg Ford Motor Co Metal Porcelain Sign Gasoline Oil Gas 72×36 Neon

Here is a great piece that you do not see often. I have decided to sell it along with a few other pieces I have collected. On the front of the sign there is the large wording of Ford. The lower center of the sign has the wording of Meyers outdoor advertising inc mpls. There are a few factory holes along the word Ford and along the outer rim, Im guessing this was Neon at one time, but displays just fine as is. Here is a great sign to add to the collection, the sign has some porcelain chips here and there, but overall still a great sign for display. The sign measures 72 inches wide and 36 inches tall. Prairie City Oil Co. Ltd. Rare Buffalo Gasoline And English Motor Oil Sign

Established in Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada around 1907 or 1908. It is one of a handful or perhaps one of one in existence and an actual two section tin method of manufacturing most likely made in between 1908 and 1915. It measures 58 1/4″ wide by 34″ tall. It is mounted on a newer plywood backing with a modern wood material framing. The sign and its total thickness today with the mounting board and frame is 1. That one appears newer, and albeit it in better condition, it too was a rare offering however my sign may pre-date its manufacture. Here is a unique piece, in such a heavy gauge metal. There is the large wording of Quaker State Oil across the center. In the lower right corner there is the smaller fine print manufacture wording. This listing is for a 1930’s 48 Deep Rock Double sided Porcelain sign with pole for sale. It is in good original condition, with some porcelain chips, and scratches as shown in the photos. The porcelain is very glossy and the colors are vibrant and not faded. There are no touch ups or clear coat on this sign. It is in very good condition, and displays well. The pole measures 12′ to the bottom of sign ring, for a total of 16′. There is no base on the pole, so a base or bracket would need to be attached or welded on.
