Amalie Pennsylvania Motor Oil Official State Inspection Station Single Sided Tin Sign. Make sure you check out my other auctions! This is a single sided tin sign advertising Amalie Motor Oil, and better, an Official State Inspection Station. This sign presents very well with nice colors, lettering and graphics, but it does have some imperfections to mention. Mostly, they come in the form of chipping in the paint, and some bubbling, mostly on the right portion. It isnt horrible, but it is noticeable and you can feel some bubbles when you run your hand across the face in that area. The rest of the sign is fine, but the far right side shows this damage. Otherwise, there are plenty of small nicks and chips in the paint, but none that are earth shattering. In the bottom right corner, the sign is labeled G-35. It has an embossed edge around the entire sign that acts as a self-framing effect. Although obviously not perfect, this sign is in pretty nice shape to display. I dont want to make it seems worse than it is, but I do want to point out the imperfections. It measures just over 35.5 wide and just over 11.5 tall. This advertising piece is in pretty nice shape and will make a great addition to any advertising or Petroliana collection! We do our very best to package items well.
