Rare Large Vintage Metal GULF Motor Oil Double Sided Flange Sign

One (1) Rare Large Vintage. Metal GULFPRIDE SELECT Motor Oil. Double Sided Flange Sign. What a fantastic find! My 90 year old dad found a few of these recently in one of his old barns they were clearing out to repair a roof leak. The box they were in was pretty much falling apart from old age and if there was any writing on it, it was long gone. These were NEVER used. My dad is a second generation farmer in southwest Ohio. In the winter months they worked on their farm equipment and on other farmer’s equipment in the area, too. They were a John Deere retailer for southwest Ohio for many years (until about 1974), so they were always getting signage from retailers. With that said, dad thinks these are from around 1960’s/1970’s. They are NOT reproduction. Double-sided flange sign; different image on each side. In wonderful vintage condition. Extremely minimal scratches and rust spots. I see no dents. Colors and images are sharp and vibrant. Clean and ready to display. 16.5″ x 12″. No original box included. THANKS SO MUCH FOR LOOKING!
