Up for sale we have a Vtg 1950s RPM Motor Oil Sign 40x 20 Tin Metal Standard Oil Co. Good original sign , has some wear , and extra holes in the field , a few small cuts to the edges near mounting holes , sign was used as a piece of flashing upside down so front of sign survived well , measures 40 wide x 20 tall. S ign has a slight crease on right facing side where it was probably bent when used for flashing piece. Sign was probably never hung at service station. See all photos for condition and measurements. This is a Original And Authentic standard Motor Oil Gasoline porcelain Sign not a cheap reproduction from India! Double sided porcelain metal sign the sign measurements are 30 inches round! Just like it should be. The condition of this sign is really not to bad considering its age 100 years old. Everything about this sign is great except where someone shot at it. There are seven bullet shots all in the same place only two bullet holes went all the way through the sign. There are couple chips on the porcelain Sign on both sides but not that bad. The 1920s Standard Polarine Motor Oil Gasoline Sign is perfectly round 30 inches. Has the original blue border rim no missing pieces of the sign nothing cut away all original! If it didnt have the bullet shots and the two holes would be great Sign! Red white and blue colors with large S on both sides guaranteed 100% original and Authentic! Lays pretty flat with just minor warping. Has the original hanging holes with minor rust around them and chipping. Beautiful sign concerning its age!
