WoW A true survivor!! This sign has that authentic “patina” that took 80+ years to develop!!! The black around the “T” indicates it was made pre 1936!!! Vintage Original 36″ X 12″ Amalie Motor Oil Sign. Stout Sign Company, St. I have owned this sign for a number of years. Over time some light wear has occured but for the most part it is still in excellent condition. There is a small scratch in the upper right hand corner. A light line is visible on the back but really can’t be seen on the front unless you move it under a light. If you can look at the photo with ALIE portion, this is where the line is on the back. Unused NOS 1966 Atlantic Imperial Motor Oil Gas Station Sign withCan 18×11 A-M Inc

I have for sale a new old stock unused tin Atlantic Imperial motor oil sign. This is for one sign only but I have several available. This price is for the nicer looking ones with minimal storage wear but show some manufacturing paint flaws. I have cheaper ones listed that have some surface scratching. These signs that I have available are a recent fresh discovery out of a local estate and are old originals dated Oct. 1966 made by A. (Allen Morrison) and measure 17 5/8 x 10 1/2. These are painted , not porcelain. The label states that this was a qty of 24 signs and it even shows the size. Hanging up these look awesome but keep in mind, upon close examintion some of these do show some storage wear as they were stacked upon each other with no protection between them for over 50 years. The colors are bright and glossy. Some do show light scuffs and light surface scratches , nothing I seen down to bare metal , and they might be able to buff or polish out. One thing I notice on a few was a pattern of some of the gold color lines and spots on the blue , this appears to have been from the manufacturing process and not scratches. I assume the color process was done in layers and either the templets or stencils were not cleaned properly or often enough between applications. It is in the same areas on a bunch of these. I have a sample picture pointing out the flaws of the Gold over Blue , if you can zoom in on the lot you will see the same pattern on a few of these. No rust bubbles , some brown stains on edges of a few. I have a magnet on it to show it is not an aluminum repro. If you need other pics , please ask. This is for one sign only.
